Mankind is connected to the world’s forests in a symbiotic circle that casts its web all the way from the earth we stand on to the very air that we breathe. With the energy of the sun, guided by the ancient instinct of trees, wood creates itself of water, carbon from the air, and minerals of the soil. Amazingly, wood is mostly water and air.
Of all the ecosystems to which we are tied, the forests are the most compellingly mysterious, beautiful, and sheltering. We partake of this bounty to give life to our creations. It is our natural impulse to return the favor.
It is in the spirit of this knowledge that we do our work.
